Children's Ministry


Christ Armenian Church meets every Sunday at 2PM. Check the CAC Calendar of Events for more times and workshops.

What to Expect!

Our Children’s Ministry program meets the needs of all God’s children. We welcome every child to CAC Jr. to become a living proof that Jesus lives! We have classes for children from ages 5 to 13 on Fridays and from 3-13 on Sundays.

Classroom Age Groups:

* Preschool Preschoolers 3-4 year olds

* Middlers 1st – 3rd Grade 5-8 year olds

* Upper Elementary 4th – 5th Grade 8-10 year olds

* Junior High 6th -8th Grade 11-13 year olds

Classroom Standard Teaching Material:

  • Preschool – God, Creation, Mary, Joseph, Jesus’ birth and miracles. (Teachers: Hermineh Azizian & Edna Shahvosian).
  • Middlers – New Testament and everything about Jesus, Disciples, Old Testament character stories. (Teachers: Alina Khosravi, Remita Khachatourian, Edrina Abnus Masihi).
  • Upper Elementary – Bible in one year (major and minor prophets, events and character), main division between world
    and church (our lives in and outside church), prayer, Holy Spirit. (Teachers: Katrin Davoudi, Dalar & Lousineh Tahamasian).
  • Junior High – Connecting Old Testament prophecies to the New Testament, and introduction to the New Testament, Jesus and the Gospels. (Teachers: Shervin Youssefian,
    Serjik Ghahramanians).

Our Goals:

      At Christ Armenian Church, we want the children to S.H.I.N.E. to glorify our Lord Savior, Jesus Christ
      and to learn to know Him personally, have a daily relationship with Him and serve Him.

Welcome Letter:

Dear Children and Parents,

I am very excited to welcome you to Christ Armenian Church Children’s Ministry. I thank the Lord that He has called us to this very rewarding ministry. Our commitment to Jesus Christ and to this ministry compels us to introduce Jesus to the children and help them build a personal relationship with Him. Together, we want to build a fun, loving and caring atmosphere where children can develop and grow in their faith. Remember, they don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care!

Our Children’s Ministry welcomes every child to S.H.I.N.E. and be a living proof that Jesus lives! I welcome you to our unique ministry. There are classes for children from ages three up to thirteen. Once they start attending high school, they graduate from Children’s Ministry and become a part of Christ Armenian Church’s Youth Group. Each class has its own standard teaching material that is taught in a two-year time frame.

We look forward to serving our Lord together and accomplishing great things for His kingdom. Once again, thank you for your interest and welcome aboard!
